A Trend or a Self-Amplifier?
Updated: Jan 14, 2020
In modern society every person tries to be comprehensive of all things The World lays in front of them, carelessly neglecting the fact that every affair does not suit everyone. Speaking of Health and Fitness the same applies. Social Media has been recently influencing people of all ages, and this is two-edged. To get hold of the correct edge is all up-to a significant individual. As an example, we find many, posting various kinds of videos and photographs of staying fit and staying in shape, regardless of gender. It is great to get influenced, but is it good to lose Authenticity?
As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said that “The first wealth is health”, we all should have the desire to maintain a healthy lifestyle to stay fit and also to make this world a better place. What do I mean by saying that A Healthy Lifestyle could make this world a better place? Physical well-being leads an individual to have a positive mindset, and this is not what I say but what psychology has proved. Envision that if every one of us had a positive mindset, where the world would have been? Would there be violence? Would there be Inferiority among individuals? Would there be bullying? Hence maintaining a fit and healthy lifestyle is important not only for ourselves but also for the well-being of others.
How can we stay fit? Physical exercise is great, but itself is not standard enough. Having a great meal plan and eating healthy, plays a significant role in staying fit. Here are a few main steps to stay healthy and fit.
As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said that “The first wealth is health”, we all should have the desire to maintain a healthy lifestyle to stay fit and also to make this world a better place.
1. Have a positive mindset and follow your instincts regardless of what people say.
The fellow tribe will let you down, they’ll laugh at you and look at you from a different perspective. But remember that you are the master of your thoughts.
2. Start small and love what you do.
Be happy with the little things you do and everything you gain from them because starting small doesn’t mean that you are weak. It means that your journey is a long, interesting and successful one.
3. Eat healthy to fill your daily needs, Not to seize “likes” on your social media feed.
4. Start working out…It’ll keep you in shape!!!!
Go to your nearest Gym. It will always be available for you. Or…..there is plenty that you could do at home too!
The key to staying fit is having a good diet as well as physical exercise. Having a good diet doesn’t mean starving yourself. We should not have too little or too much, but just the right amount of all the nutrients we are supposed to have in our daily intake. Having oatmeal for breakfast is a great way to start! Oatmeal consists of soluble fibre which helps in digesting and maintaining a healthy immune system. And just one little cup with some berries could keep you going for several hours. It is also important to have a considerable amount of Protein in our diet as it is not stored in the human body. A grilled piece of chicken/fish with some grilled or boiled vegetables and some eggs could easily provide you with the necessary amount of Protein, and your lunch is done!! Dinner is easy off with some fruits. To amplify this diet having a glass of Celery Juice every morning before breakfast is highly beneficial for the health. Celery is packed with vital nutrients and vitamins and it also acts as an antioxidant. It’s great for the skin too! And cheating once a week doesn’t do you any harm. After all, we have to live the life of our fantasies too!
Speaking of exercise it’s not about going to the gym every day, but about doing your level best wherever you are. For instance, a good run on the beach is an excellent way to burn calories. As a fact, it is way more effective than running on a treadmill. But there are pros and cons to everything as always. Going to the gym is convenient and sufficient for most people, but it can be costly. The same applies to activities like cycling, hiking, swimming etc, but these activities cannot be done anywhere at any time though it doesn’t cost much.
Currently, many of us follow prevailing trends, may it be fashion, food or anything you name. To determine what’s best for us is up to us to decide since every individual is unique in their way.
Fitness is not a mere word or a trend itself. It has more depth and meaning for one to contemplate. A fit person is not only defined by physical fitness itself, but also by mental wellness as well, as mentioned earlier. We should be fit not for the world to see but to maintain a better personality and to amplify ourselves to reach higher in life. By doing so we set a moral for the younger generation as well. Psychology has proven that physically fit people are less depressed and that they are less into viral diseases too. This fact could be a great milestone for the whole world if they were aware of the mighty things Physical Fitness could do.
Mentioned below are just a few of the advantages of being physically fit.
1. It reduces the risk of chronic diseases.
2. It improves skin texture and complexion.
3. Reduces the Risk of Heart Attack.
4. Always keeps your metabolism boosted.
5. It improves body structure and shape.
According to my point of view, I see no disadvantages of being physically fit. It only helps one to be a better person than he/she was yesterday. But it is up to an individual to be true to him/her self. Showing off just for the attention of the society gives us nothing but just temporary relief for having mere attention only.
So let all of us be fit and healthy to be self-influenced persons not only for the betterment of ourselves but also to make this world a better place.
